I have always enjoyed being outdoors and playing in the gardens but up until 2004 i never really had anything growing. It all started when we finally moved to a place with a nice yard to grow our veggies we needed to save some cash. I really got into sowing the seeds and watching everything grow. The weeding on the other hand is still nothing i enjoy but i know it is benefical and besides the fact it makes everything grow bigger, it looks alot better on the eyes as well. So a lil hard work will never hurt me!

Sure it started with maters and cucs, but then i caught myself buying seeds for perennials like the coneflower and columbines. Then i saw  the hosta and had to have a couple. It just grew from there. I had a perennial bed, then made a shade bed, then moved onto my very first love, sedums. I then tried roses, but with all the stray animals here that were using my rose beds as a litter box, they ended up dying on me. Too much amonia they say...mad me mad though cause i only got to a few blooms and i put alot of hard work and time into them roses to just see them die was horrible to me. Then i found out it wasnt strays and it was actually my neighbors 20 something feral cats and her 7 ankle biting dogs destroying my gardens..so we had a lil talk....lol

Ever since then, the things i plant usually thrive and now i am getting addicted to other things like the Iris and the Hemerocallis (Daylily)!!
