So you wanted to see my children now huh....well be prepared for a very cute but silly bunch!!

Well lets see how we can explain this story and keep it short and simple. Ok i was still living with my parents in Dover, Pennsylvania and they always had at least 3 dogs and at least 3 cats at all times. Well someone did not get the female cat spayed so we ended up with alot more then 3 cats. The first litter our female cat Coco had, i fell deeply in love with a male kitten, named him Gordon. That was is 1997 and he is still in my heart today!

About a yr later, i met my current Fiance, Tim and he moved in to the Hyer house and a few short weeks later a stray dog popped up..a cute lil miniature pincher...we tried for weeks to find his home but no one claimed him, so we added him to our lil family and called him Doughty!

Well Tim got a transfer to New York so we moved our lil happy family, minus Doughty because my dad was heart broken just hinking about not having Doughty inhis world, so off to Rocheste, Ny we were there for over a yr when we moved to Maryland, when Tim got yet another transfer, well we thought Gordon was lonely so we visited the Hyer home once again cause someone told me she (my mother) had yet more kittens ready to go to a good home...So in Sept of 2002 we snatched up a cute lil orange tabby kitten yet again and named him Dexter!

So After 2 yrs we got sick of Maryland and decided we should move to West Virginia, which is where the Hyer family originated....the first yr we were here, 2004, we went to a flea market where there was bunnies being sold for $5..hence now we have Sylvia...lol

In January of 05, i met a nice woman online who had puppies she wanted to get homes for..well come to find out they were cute lil St. Bernard Puppies so of course i snatched one up and added a new dog to the lil family, Logan! He is the biggest love of our lives now! We should of checked into it a lil further though cause 3 months after we got him, he came down with PARVO...this is after the woman claimed he had all his shots and was fine...well apparently not, cause he got real sick and took almost the world from us to make him all better and it hurt our wallets pretty good too....but the money never mattered. We saved his life and now he has a life full of love and happiness.... if i had to do it all over again, i would, but i would made sure she showed me vet reciepts first...lol

We live in the country so of course we have all kinds of strays coming around our house, i dont like a starving animal, so i feed them and now they dont leave, in fact they multiply....hence Simon, Crayola and the new addition to our lil family romeo, which is a kitten from the 2 adult strays.....the rest pretty much stay outside all the time now, except when the weather is really bad i bring them in for a bit to relax and get some warmth.

There ya have it, the Hyer animal family...i know its huge! But we all love each other like one big happy family!! And i wouldnt change a thing!

Everyone here is completely happy, even when the cats are up to no good and the dog knocks EVERYTHING down!
